I swear it took me half an hour to open one package.  I needed to open two but changed my mind.  My scissors were not strong enough to tear the heavy plastic wrapping apart.  There is not breathing room in the package and my hands and back hurt.  Plus I was exhausted after this ordeal.  I am not sure that our nuclear waste is as protected as these four D batteries.  Besides sell things, does AARP ever get involved in packaging, explaining how difficult it is for seniors to deal with?
